Sarah Nuñez was born in Bogota, Colombia and raised in North Carolina. She’s a cultural worker and healer, weaving storytelling, art, practice, and movement building throughout her work, organizing and activism. She is a nonprofit and small business consultant, lecturer, educator, and organizer with experience across sectors. Sarah is passionate about community engagement, systems change, and using healing, art, and activist modalities as avenues for transformative change. Sarah holds a Master’s degree in Public Affairs from Western Carolina University as well as a Bachelor’s of Art in Interdisciplinary Studies from UNC-Asheville. She is currently working towards her Ph.D. Counseling and Personnel Services (College Student Personnel) from the University of Louisville.
