Paul Rooprai is an experienced strategist, marketer and business improvement executive with more than 20 years’ experience growing enterprise value and positioning companies for acquisition. His diverse background includes the development of dozens of products and services that have driven sales growth, championing operational changes that have significantly improved profit, and serving as dealmaker on more than a dozen divestitures that created more than a quarter billion dollars in shareholder value for public and privately held companies.
Currently Paul focuses his work as a strategy and business development consultant helping companies innovate and grow through strategic partnerships. An enthusiast for big challenges, he recently brought together clients from Germany, Japan and the US to collaborate on new technology solutions that are revolutionizing food, pharmaceutical and industrial supply chains through the digitization of their products. The result for companies and consumers alike is greater transparency and trust – two of the same cornerstones that guide Paul in all his work.
Paul has served in management roles with top companies across healthcare, restaurant and tech, including UofL Healthcare, Yum! Brands, Peet’s Coffee, and Smartrac IoT. He enjoys leading organizations through strategic planning exercises, uncovering operational improvements, architecting new revenue channels, and serving as a sparring partner to executives on a variety of strategic issues.
Paul Rooprai holds a Bachelor of Science in Genetics & Cell Biology from University of Minnesota and Master of Healthcare Administration with concentrations in Strategy & Finance from Carlson School of Management at UMN. He currently lives in Louisville, Kentucky with his wife and two children and enjoys collaborating with entrepreneurs and volunteering at his children’s school.
