Jayne Labes is a professional with 28 years of nonprofit development and communications experience in the Louisville community, strengthened by ten years of sales and related management expertise. Areas of expertise include annual fund development, communications, public relations, grant writing, special events, and working with nonprofit boards.
She began her development career with the Methodist Evangelical Hospital Foundation, which later merged with Norton Hospital Foundation. After seven years in healthcare, Jayne served five years as Director of Development at The Chance School. She began consulting for local nonprofit organizations in 2002.
Past clients include Habitat ReStore, The Healing Place, Kenya Education & AIDS Program, Louisville Visual Art, City of Middletown, and WaterStep.
She currently consults for New Hope Services, Kentucky to the World, Supplies Over Seas, Hearts 4 Kenya, and ZoomGroup, and does additional grant writing projects.
Jayne holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Kentucky; she is a member of the Center for Nonprofit Excellence; a past board member of Wesley House Community Services; and is a member and past president of the Fund Raising Executives of Metro Louisville.
