Tammy Moloy
Senior Consultant

Tammy Moloy started her career more than twenty years ago at Tennessee Christian Medical Center after graduating from Pepperdine University with a Bachelor of Arts in Telecommunications and a minor in Youth and Human Service Administration. Tammy developed the hospital’s first Miracle Mile Run/Walk fundraiser and strengthened her fundraising skills before moving to Boston, MA, to work for the Computerworld Smithsonian Awards Foundation (CWSA) – the “Academy Awards of the Information Technology Sector.”

With CWSA, Tammy promoted to the Manager of the Chairmen’s Circle quickly where she worked with CEOs and CIOs from the top 100 information technology companies in the world to secure their nominations and sponsorship of the CWSA program. While working for CWSA, she secured a Certificate of Nonprofit Management from top-rated Case Western Reserve University.

After a short stint with law firm, Hogan & Hartson LLP, Tammy stepped right back into nonprofit management as the Deputy Executive Director for the National Capital Area Chapter of The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society which was the Society’’s top chapter. Within her six years at the Society, she helped lead the chapter to achieve record growth – increasing revenues from $3 million to nearly $13 million by the time she left to start her own business with Creative Memories.

With Creative Memories, Tammy achieved “Top 10 in Personal Recruiting” (of nearly 40,000 consultants nationwide) and also achieved rankings in the “Top 250 Consultants” earning her and her husband a Mediterranean cruise. Owning her own business allowed Tammy the flexibility to come back to her birthplace of Louisville, Kentucky to raise her children and be close to her extended family.

While still continuing to run her own business with Creative Memories, Tammy was asked to start the Kentucky state operation for an international nonprofit serving people with disabilities called Best Buddies International. Becoming the State Director for Best Buddies International’s launch into Kentucky was a terrific challenge, and Tammy provided the organization with a very strong foundation for future success winning multiple awards and securing surplus funding in Best Buddies Kentucky’s first year of operation.

Leaving Best Buddies with a strategic plan for sustainable growth, Tammy has now moved on to consult with Ashley/Rountree & Associates to provide other Metro Louisville nonprofits with that same assistance.
